The GAAS laboratories are equipped with a range of modern instruments. Among the major instrumentation used for analysis are:

• Agilent 1200 series Rapid Resolution HPLC system, including SL binary pump, vacuum degasser, thermostatted autosampler, thermostatted column compartment and diode array detector
• Two Agilent 1100 series HPLC systems, with quarternary pumps, vacuum degassers, thermostatted autosamplers, thermostatted column compartments, diode array and radiochemical detector
• 1100 series LC/MSD Trap mass spectrometer
• HP series II 5890 capillary gas chromatograph with autosampler, split/splitless injector, FID and ECD detector
